Mobile eye unit is now taking appointments

The Arizona Medical Eye Mobile will be in the parking lot of the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 400 Palo Verde, on Friday, September 24, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled by calling Desert Senita Community Health Center at 387-5651. There is a fee for eye screenings.

The number of patients that can be seen is limited, so those who suspect they have eye problems are encouraged to call early for an appointment. The Lions Vision Center and the Arizona Ophthalmological Society sponsor the mobile eye unit. Local sponsors of the eye unit are the Ajo Lions Club and DSCHC.
