Tracking used to find dope cache

Traditional tracking operations were used by US Border Patrol agents assigned to the Ajo Station in the discovery of a stolen vehicle and about 1,700 pounds of marijuana last Thursday in the west desert. Agents followed tire tracks through the desert to the marijuana-laden vehicle. The drugs were seized for delivery to the Drug Enforcement Agency and the vehicle was towed to the Ajo Station pending transfer to local law enforcement.

Tucson Sector, agents- have seized more than 943,000 pounds of marijuana since October 1 of last year.
