Groundwater district board elections set

The Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District has approved a contract with the Burnet County Elections Administration for board elections for Precincts 2 and 4 on May 8.

Wayne Brown is the incumbent director for Precinct 2 and Jerry Bostick is the Precinct 4 director.

Filing for the election begins Feb.

6 and the deadline for filing is March 8. Candidates can file for the election in Burnet in the district office, 225 S. Pierce St., Suite 104.

Early voting will be held 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 to May 4 at 7 to 9 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. April 29 and May 3 in the Burnet County Courthouse, 220 S. Pierce St. and at the Marble Falls Courthouse Annex, 810 Steve Hawkins Parkway.
