"Nita is a role model," said new chamber president Damon Beierle. "She is open, easy to work with and truly stands out as a leader in the community."

Beierle made special note of Milliron's work with the Seton Caravan Golf Tournament, which raises money to benefit children's health care, and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Burnet.

"She is a wonderful as set to the community," Beierle added.

Seton Highland Lakes Hospital was named Large Business of the Year.

"They are probably the most dedicated, loyal and caring organization around," said chamber board member David Ben-net, who presented the award. "Their employees make it a priority to give so much of their personal hours in volunteering for every event to help this great community, not to mention the Seton Caravan, which helps out hundreds and hundreds of kids a year."

Others nominated for the award were Fetty Fast Signs, Attorneys Abstract, Galloway Insurance and Re/Max Burnet.

Burnet High School athlete Dillon Chafin received the Outstanding Youth Award.

"Dillon's heart is the best thing about him," said Scott Meadors, youth and family minister of the Vanderveer Street Church of Christ, who presented the award. "He really knows who he is. I commend your choice."
