MNF Books Fundraiser Deadline is September 13!!

With NFL pre-season football games and school starting it must mean that it is almost time for Monday Night Football!

Once again, the Monday Night Football books will be for sale. This year the money raised will be split between the Canistota Athletic Association to help buy new uniforms, equipment and field improvements and the newly formed Football Committee to help pay for costs associated with the new football field project.

If you are not familiar with what these books are or how it works, it really simple. First, you purchase a book for $25.00 from Misty Miller, April Spicer, Ginger Wells, Alex Montgomery, Matt Anderson, Ryan Ortman, Jeff Nielsen, Dan Tieszen or Chad Janzen, Brenda/Pat Jolley, Lenny Schroeder, Brian Roshone. The number on the front cover of your book is the square you will be playing on the score grid for each game. Then you cheer on the teams. The last digits of both team's scores determines the winners. An example is included below. Just so you know the grid of numbers at the top and along the side are different for every game so you won't always be stuck with a4&5 or a 2&9.

You have two chances to win each game. You can win $25 based on the half time score and $25 based on the final score. This year we are selling 200 books to allow for more people to play and win!

If you played last year you know that it sure makes watching football on Monday nights more interesting, especially if you are not a football fan. What is even better is that you don't even have to watch the game to win. You just have to purchase a book and we will take care of getting money to you if you win. Winners will receive payment by Tuesday or Wednesday following the outcome of Monday night's game.

This year there are 200 books for sale and it is a first come first serve basis, buy as many as you would like. Please make sure to fill out the name and address portion on the front cover and give it back to one of the wonderful volunteers who agreed to help sell books. Help support the local summer youth ball program and football project and have some fun at the same time!
