Cheneys Bauge honored by STCU

Danielle Bauge of Cheney High School was one of 12 Eastern Washington high school seniors honored April 28 for excelling in career and technical education during the Spokane Teachers Credit Union Focus Awards. Bauge, who would like to go into agricultural education, received a $100 savings bond.

Tom Johnson, president/CEO of STCU, told the recipients that career and technical education is a good choice in a tough economy. "By getting practical experience now, before continuing your education, you will be ahead of manv of vour peers," he said, according to a press release.
