MLs Besterci earns EWU scholarship

Michael Besterci of Medical Lake has been awarded $2,500 through the Presidents Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at Eastern Washington University. This scholarship is awarded to high school students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.8 or higher or an SAT score of 1250 or higher.

Besterci is set to graduate from Medical Lake High School this year, where he is a member of the National Honors Society. He plans to attend EWU in the fail. He is the som of Josie Peralta and David Besterci of Medical Lake.
