Martha Jane Campbell

Wildwood resident Martha Jane Campbell passed from this life suddenly Aug. 27, 2010, at Seneca Health Care District located in Chester.

Born to Pennsylvania natives John and Anna (Adams) Dayen Feb. 13, 1915, in Turtle Creek, Pa., as a young child she and her family relocated to Los Angeles, where she was raised and educated graduating from high school there.

She met and married the late William "Bill" Campbell while living in Southern California.

Except for a brief five-year stay in Alaska, the couple continued to live there until moving from Downey to Elk Grove some 20 years ago.

Martha moved to Chester 10 years ago, residing in the Meadows Senior Housing until moving to Wildwood Senior Center three years ago.

In passing Martha leaves a number of nieces and nephews to include Sarah Jean Ray who so lovingly cared for her these past few years.

Martha joins her brothers; John, Frank and James along her sisters Roberta Wilson and Ruth Glenn in their eternal home.

Following cremation, private family graveside services took place in the Chester District Cemetery.
