Motorcycle rider is injured in collision

CopyVerde Valley Fire District responded to the report of a motorcycle accident on Page Springs Road just before the Page Springs Bridge.
Upon arrival around 11:36 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, crews found the rider sitting at. the side of the road with multiple abrasions.
According to a witness, the rider lost control of the bike as he came around the corner, hit a Chevrolet Tahoe parked by the side of the road and slid another 20 to 25 feet to the center of the road, according to WFD reports.
The witness helped the driver in getting his bike to the side of the road and waited for help to arrive. Crews assessed the condition of the driver, but he refused transport to the hospital, the reports stated.
The WFD crew turned the scene over to Yavapai County Sheriffs Office deputies.
