Cafe Azafran: healthy, creative food in Lewes and Rehoboth

Cafe Azafran is known for its fresh, healthy and creatively prepared food served in a friendly, intimate atmosphere. Now there are two locations, at 109 Market Street in Lewes and 18 Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach for your dining pleasure. Azafran Lewes opens daily at 7 a.m. for light breakfast and exquisite coffees. Azafran Rehoboth opens for breakfast Thursday thru Monday at 7:30 a.m. for a heartier breakfast with omelets, egg sandwiches and European waffles.

A long-standing Lewes lunch spot on Market Street, Azafran is known for its outstanding soups and flavorful specials in addition to classic favorites like the warm-baked brie salad and cafe panini. For dinner service, Cafe Azafran transforms the night with casually elegant dinner offerings including an extensive tapas menu, exciting wine list and weekly dinner specials. Now serving its summer dinner menu, Cafe Azafran offers a variety of soups, salads, tapas, large plates T and desserts to please any appetite.

Great dinner deals are available with our

weekly dinner specials. They include: Monday - 1/2 price bottles of wine (Rehoboth and Lewes); Tuesday - Prix Fixe Menu, three courses for $23 plus half-price botdes of wine (Rehoboth only). Weekly Paella nights are back for the summer: Wednesday night in Rehoboth at 7 p.m., reservations required; and Thursday in Lewes at 7 p.m., reservations required. Paella is prepared al fresco on our terraza featuring shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, chicken and chorizo. In Lewes, breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and lunch is available from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. year-round. Dinner is currently being served Thursday thru Monday from 5:30 p.m.

In Rehoboth, breakfast is served 7:30 a.m. to noon and lunch is available noon to 3 p.m. Thursday thru Monday. Dinner is daily in Rehoboth from 5 p.m. In Lewes, Cafe Azafran is located at 109 Market Street, downtown, behind King's Ice Cream, 302-644-4446, and at 18 Baltimore Avenue in the ocean block of Rehoboth Beach, 302-227-8100.
