DeFuniak Springs Police (DFSPD) are searching for two suspects in the Sept. 14 burglary of the Medicine. Shoppe at 674 U.S. 331 South in DeFuniak Springs. The business reported that "undisclosed amounts" of a Schedule II semisynthetic narcotic and non-controlled prescription drug had been taken. A witness reportedly saw two persons in the area prior to the break-in, which took place at around 1:30 a.m.

Police responded following the business' security alarm system, and have been provided with descriptions of the suspects: They are described as a white female and a black male. The female is approximately 5 feet tall, wearing a red Harley-Davidson shirt, short blue shorts, and carrying a red purse with a Coca-Cola logo on it. The male is more than 6 feet tall, and was shirtless, wearing a beige 'baseball cap.

Witnesses told police they saw the female throw a white bag to her partner, who placed it in the trunk of a car. The two got into the car and drove north on U.S. 331. The car is described as a dark green Buick with tinted windows and a broken left rear passenger window. The right front also has visible damage.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the DFSPD at 892-8511
