Luzelle Bledsoe Hasty

DeWitt Era-Enterprise of DeWitt, Arkansas

Luzelle Bledsoe Hasty, 93, of DeWitt died Sept. 11. She was born in 1916 and was a member of Shiloh Methodist Churchfor 70 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ada and Ruben Bledsoe; 11 brothers and sisters; her husband, Tom Hasty Sr.; and two daughters, Mary Kate Hasty and Mary Susan Hasty.

Survivors include her son, Tom Hasty Jr. and his wife, Bonnie; two granddaughters, Melanie Carroll Hasty-Grant and her husband, Ken of Owasso, OK, and Mary Jane Cahill of Conway; four great-grandsons, Triston Hunter and Haydon Alexander Hasty-Grant of Owasso, OK, and Collin Hasty and Carson Thomas Cahill of Conway and a great-granddaughter, Sophie Jane Cahill of Conway.

Funeral services were held at Shiloh Methodist Church Sept. 14 with Essex Funeral Home of DeWitt in charge.

Memorials may be made to Shi loh Cemetery Fund; c/o Eunice Montgomery; 510 W. 10th; Stuttgart, AR 72160; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
