Gordon Williams, age 64, of Vineland passed away on August 19, 2009 in Thomasville.
Funeral services were held on August 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with burial following in Union Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Sherman Jenkins officiating. Reese Funeral Home in Thomasville directed.
He is survived by seven sisters; Mary Ann January, Birmingham, Ida Mae Pritchett of Detroit, MI, Margaret (Willie) Jenkins, Vineland, Elizabeth Richardson, Fort Worth, TX., Charlie Mae (Arthur) Gillespie, Vineland, Ann Delois Campbell, Phoenix, Arizona, and Mary Franere Campbell of Salt Lake City, Utah; one stepsister and three stepbrothers; two uncles, Tommy Lee Garden of Mobile, and George Garden (Sue) of Vineland; a devoted friend, Virginia, Gant and others; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
He accepted Christ at an early age and united with Union Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. T. R. Grayson. He was preceded in death by his parents Zeb Williams and Geraldine Williams Campbell.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers were family and friends.
