Bulldogs Run Cross Country in Kaufman

CopyThe Edgewood boys and girls participated at the Kaufman Cross Country Meet last week. Ninety-four runners trotted along the paths in the competition, and Dylon Lowe of Kaufman won the meet with 15 minutes and 47 seconds. Josh Jenkins was the first Edgewood teammate to cross the finish line in 35th place. He finished in 18 minutes and 55 seconds. Bryce Colby came in 68th place and finished with 20 minutes and 50 seconds. Colton Bowling was the last member on the boy s team coming in 90th place with 24 minutes and 27 seconds.
The Lady Bulldogs had two girls competing for their meet. With 96 runners Allex Wilson of Maypearl finished 1st with 12 minutes and 53 seconds. Michaela
Mooney of Edgewood ran in 17 minutes flat giving her 71st place. Shelby Rosencrans finished in 87th place with 20 minutes and 37 seconds.
Both teams should be proud of their efforts and will move on to race for another day.
