Local Graduate Completes Basic Training

Edgewood High School graduate, Jonathan C. Meddle, completed his basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas recently. He finished an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Medelle was also able to earn four credit hours towards an associate's degree in an applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of Chris Medelle of Edgewood as well and Jonathan graduated from the school in 2008.
