Barbara Jean (Vergne) Kent

February 28, 1940 to May 3, 2010

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away in the company of family in her home on Lake Tapps overlooking the mountain where she wished to spend her final days.

Barbara was born to Edward and Dorothy Vergne in Tacoma. She moved to Eatonville at a young age and graduated from Eatonville High School in 1958. Barbara married her high School sweetheart, David Verne Kent. She worked as an X-ray technician for 40 years. They moved to Lake Tapps where she raised her family. She enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, family and time spent on the lake. She has eight grandchildren who were the joy of her life.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Kent. Children: Andrea (Kenneth) Stamper , Deidre Clarke, Vernon(Stacie) Kent. Grandchildren: Branden, Ashley, Bryce Stamper, Derek, Kayla, Breanna Clarke, Joey, and Jaden Kent. Sister and Sister in-law: Joanne (Tom) Lonn and Joan (Alen) Bell. as well as many other friends and family members.

We all love her very much, and she will be missed greatly!
