CopyEusebio G. Sanchez, 63, of Lordsburg, NM, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City, NM, surrounded by loved ones.
A Rosary was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lordsburg on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 10 a.m. with1 FaffTer Michael Williams officiating. Interment followed at Shakespeare Cemetery.
Mr. Sanchez was born on November 6, 1946 in Fort Hancock, Texas, to Margarita and Tranquilino Ramirez, both of Animas, NM.
Mr. Sanchez is survived by three daughters, Sandra Herrera of Houston, TX, Elizabeth Cantu of San Antonio, TX, and DeAnna Zapata of Houston, TX; one son, Ricardo Sanchez and his wife, Lupita, of Eagle Pass, TX; three brothers, David Ramirez and his wife, Carrie, of Animas, NM, Tranquilino Ramirez Jr. and his wife, Jessica, of Animas, NM, and Vicente Ramirez and his wife, Olivia, of Fort Hancock, TX; seven sisters, Olga Lopez and her husband, Pilo, of Lordsburg, NM, Lupe Granados and her husband George of Orlando, FL, Hortencia Calzada and her husband, Bias, of Anthony, NM, Nancy Wong and her husband, David, of Phoenix, AZ, Vera Mora and her husband, Albert, of Hachita, NM, Mary Rogers and her husband, KC, of Roswell, NM, and Olivia McDonald and her husband, Robert, of Silver City, NM; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sanchez enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, dancing and hanging out with his best friends.
Casket Bearers were Danny Ramirez, Mikey Ramirez, Patrick Ramirez, Raul Calzada, Zavier Calzada, Valerie Ramirez, Vanessa Ramirez and Sammy Contreras.
