Charles R. Roper

Charles Raymond Roper, born April 5, 1963, passed away suddenly this week. He had a love of horses, fishing, camping, hunting, speaking to his children and family on the phone and spending time with friends and family every chance he got.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Carolyn; his son, James; daughters Chrissy, Loretta and Tina; five grandchildren; his parents, James and Betty Roper of Lordsburg; brother Johnnie (Renee) Roper; sisters Terrie (Jim) Stockman and Linda (Steven) Vigus; nieces and nephews Krystal (Orlando) Talavera, Justin Hines, Kelsie and Keith Vigus and Rebekah Weaver; great-niece Renee Kennedy; great-nephew Orlando Talavera Jr.; and many friends.

He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be Friday September 18th at 10 o'clock in the morning at Mountain View Cemetery with Pastor Dean Lang of the Apache Creek Deaf and Youth Ranch officiating. Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, 811 S. Gold Ave., Deming, NM 88030, Phone: 575.546.9671
