Lee was born on May 10, 1934 in La Pine, Oregon to Arlo and Martha Harding. He was raised in the Beaverton area and graduated from Beaverton High School. Lee did a two-year hitch with the Navy and was with the Navy Reserves for six years. He worked in the construction industry as a custom cabinet maker and contractor in Smithers, British Columbia; Palm Springs, California; and in the Portland area.

The most important thing to Lee was his family. Lee married Janet Scheel on May 10, 1958. As well as raisinghis own children, he and his wife also raised five of their grandchildren. He rewarded his great-grandchildren with pizza parties for their good grades. Lee loved his wife's cooking and baking; he especially enjoyed his goodies. He vacationed and traveled to many places with his wife and family. Lee loved being in the canyon, where he had a great time fishing, huntingand playing poker with his family and friends. He took pride in his garden and had many friends at harvest time. Lee touched the lives of so many, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but he will live in our hearts forever.

Lee is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jan, of Oxbow, Oregon, and four children, Ken Harding, Dave Harding, Jill Moeller and Joe Harding (Carol); grandchildren Mary, Ann (Mario), Jennifer (Tito), Jestin, Christopher, Rosalie, Rebecca, Corey, Craig, William and Anthony; 15 greatgrandchildren; brother, Chuck Harding; sister, Patricia Watson; sister-in-law, Joyce Soberanes; brother-in-law, Orve Scheel, and several nieces and nephews.
