Jewelry stolen from Buda hotel

CopyPolice are investigating the theft of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry that was reportedly pinched from a hotel room in Buda on Sunday.
At around 10:30 a.m., Buda police responded to the theft call and were told that several pieces of jewelry, estimated between $4, 500 to $5, 000, were taken from one of the rooms at the Comfort Inn and Suites.
Police did not see any signs of forced entry. They are currently waiting to view footage from the hotel's video surveillance cameras, Chief Bo Kidd said Monday.
