CopyJacqueline Jane Green, 78, of Mountain City, passed away September 7, 2009 at home. She was born March 31, 1931 in Dunkirk, NY, and is survived by her loving husband of nearly 57 years, Roger Green of Mountain City, son Donald Green, and granddaughter Jacqueline Alexis Green of Austin.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Augrum of Fredo-nia, NY and Dunedin, FL.
Jackie had many interests, and in addition to being an excellent home-maker she worked in a variety of fields, most recently as a Market Research Consultant in Geor-gia, Florida, and Texas. She was very involved in her community, and served for some time as a volunteer to help improve Mountain City.
Funeral arrangements are being made by Pennington Funeral Home in San Marcos. There will be no local services, and interment will be in Wil-lowbrook Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY under the direction of McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home following graveside services for the immediate family.
The Green family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Central Texas Medical Center Hospice Care for their kind and thoughtful assistance during this difficult time.
