GLENN
Norma Glenn, beloved wife of Duke Mack Glenn, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at her home in Creed-moor, Texas. Norma Camacho Abreu was born on July 9, 1927 in Puerto Rico and met her husband while he was stationed there in the Army-Air Force in 1941. They celebrated their 66th anniversary this past June 6.

The family is deeply grateful to Peggy Strickland, RN, who provided loving care and support for the family during her illness, and to members of Hospice Austin.
Norma is survived by her husband, Duke M. Glenn, son Robert M. Glenn and wife
Linda of League City, TX; by daughter Jacqueline Willis and husband Gordon of Creedmoor; daughter Jocelyn Henderson and husband Daniel of Riverton, WY; by six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
God looked at his garden
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And liftedyou to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never be
Well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb
So He closed your weary eyelids, and
Whispered, "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn 'tgo alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
