Brian Dillman

Services will be held in Point Arena Saturday for longtime coast resident William "Brian" Dillman, 58, who died Sept. 5, 2010 of heart failure.

Born Nov. 30, 1951 in Sonoma, Brian was a licensed contractor and had many friends in the community.

He was a member of New Hope Community Church in Point Arena, for many years serving on its leadership board.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; grandchildren Brandan and Rhiannon Vess; his parents Gerald and Myrtle Dillman of Anchor Bay; his sister Jane Dudley of Dorris, CA; and brothers Carter Dillman of Twin Falls, Idaho and Randy Dillman of Muckawanago, WI.

A service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. at New Hope Community Church, 95 Riverside Dr., Point Arena.

A potluck will be held immediately following the service.
