Tie in F.R. trustee election

Two candidates tied with 754 votes each in the Nov. 3 election for Fall River district school trustee.

Ignacio "Iggy" Venegas and Janelle Howes each received the same number of votes following Tuesday's official count.

They each were seeking the third post on the board. Incumbents Randy Oiler and Teri Vigil were returned to the board, Oiler with 1,107 votes and Vigil garnering 1,014 votes.
