Spartan grad earns win

Former Skyline High School pitching standout Julian Sampson earned his second victory for the Clearwater Threshers Aug. 7 with clutch relief pitching.

Sampson hurled three scoreless innings and struck out three to be the winning pitcher in a 1-0 victory against Dunedin in a Class A Florida State League contest.
