CopyCONWAY | A graveside service for Mary Tissue Fore, 75, of Conway Manor, was held Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, Ga. Watson Funeral Services and Crematory served the family.
She died Monday,.Aug. 24, 2009 at Conway Medical Center. She was born March 21, 1934 in Sumter County, Ga., a daughter of the late Joe Franklin and Mattie Jane Tissue.
Mary was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working with flowers of any kind. She loved her family very much.
Surviving are four daughters: Betty Ann Kelly (Randy) of Galivants Ferry, Kathy Martin (George) of Conway, Connie Willis (Gary) of Georgia, and Mary Brillante (Sonny) of Florida; one son: William Steven Fore (Patricia) of Georgia; George Calvin Fore's daughters: Lydia Ann Fore of Myrtle Beach and Franciner Georgette Young (Ben) of Georgia; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many other family and friends who will miss her.
She was also predeceased by her husband: William Starling Fore Jr; a son: George Calvin Fore; two sisters: Jane Wise and Lou Elva Smith.
