Leif joins Farmers State Bank, Adams

"My position was being eliminated and Adams needed an additional staff member, so it seemed the perfect fit for me, "stated Steve Leif, Assistant Vice President at the Farmer's State Bank-Adams office. Leif stepped into his position at the Bank earlier this month.

In his new position, he will be responsible for working with a variety of services for Bank customers, as a Loan Officer, as well as an insurance agent.

"Our Bank is growing, "said Connie Hoff, President of the Adams Office. "With an increase in our customer needs, as well as growth in the Insurance side of the Bank, we felt we needed an additional officer to join our staff in order to continue to offer the highest level of services to our customers."

Hoff went on to say, "We are very pleased with the 20 years of experience and expertise which Steve brings with him."

Leif stated he is the youngest of 11 children, and lives with his wife, Marnie,

and their three daughters, Emily, Abby, and Maggie, in the house his parents built and where he grew up in Austin.

He devotes his free time to several service organizations, including Kiwanis, the YMCA Board, and the Pacelli Booster Club. He also likes to golf and participates in and is a fan of numerous other sports.

Some in Adams may recognize the Leif name. His older brother, Greg, was the Priest at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Adams for a number of years.

"I am pleased with the warm welcome I have received since coming to Adams, "said Leif. "I look forward to the opportunity to serve the needs of the Bank's customers."
