CopyMary Clercx, 95, of Rock Rapids died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at Sanford Merrill Medical Center, Rock Rapids.
Mass was Monday, Aug. 31, at Holy Name Catholic Church, Rock Rapids, with interment in the church cemetery.
Mary Kramer was born July 19, 1914, near Larchwood, the daughter of George and Theresa (Wagner) Kramer. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in Larchwood.
On June 5, 1934, she married John Clercx in Larchwood. They lived west of Larchwood until moving a farm near Rock Rapids in 1940.
Her husband died in 1990. She moved to Lyon Manor Nursing Home Jan. 19, 2004.
She was active in St. Catherine's Society and Navy Mothers for' several years.
Survivors include one son, Duaine of Rock Rapids; five grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Peggy; three brothers and three sisters.
