Talented JV Lions put away Sheldon in three games

CopyThe future of Central Lyon volleyball exhibited determination, as well as talent, as the junior varsity Lions put away Siouxland Conference newcomer Sheldon on Sept. 10 in three games, 15-21, 21-10, 16-14.
The young Lions finished vith 14 kills against Sheldon with Tina Ageson eading the way with six. Lexi Ackerman tallied four kills and lofted 11 assists in he match. She finished 9-for-10 in serving with an ace to her credit.
Martina Peterson led Central Lyon in aces with three, while Ageson and Taylor Bork each added two ace serves.
The junior varsity with the victory improves to 9-2 on the season.
