Woman discovers her vehicle on fire

A woman returned to her parked car to find it engulfed in flames on Hwy. 41 South on Sept. 2. According to the incident report, Dep. Aiden Renfroe went to Hwy. 41 South between Hill Road and Shi Road in reference to a vehicle fire. The female driver told Renfroe her vehicle kept overheating so she pulled off the road and called her husband to come pick her up. She told Renfroe she and her husband went home to get some tools to fix the vehicle and when she returned, the vehicle was engulfed in flames, and the Monroe County Fire Department was on the scene.
