According to an incident report, on Sept. 7, Dep. Aiden Renfroe met with a Milner man who said his stepson had stolen numerous checks from him in the past few months. According to the report, two of the checks were passed at the Woodforest Bank in Walmart. A third check was declined due to a large X through the check. According to the report, the checks were from Robins Federal Credit Union and were valued at about $500. The man told Renfroe his stepson is supposed to be at college in Chicago. He said his stepson has stolen many other checks and cashed them at other banks in Georgia.
