Friends of the Animals to raffle off art

Ever visited the Amort Carter Museum in Fort Worth or other acclaimed western art museums and wished you had a piece of oiir wonderful history? Now you can.

Through a getierous donation, Friends of the Animals Spay/Neuter Clinic is raffling a signed and dated, matted and framed print of a Cheyenne chief painted by renown painter Robert Lind-neux. Painted toward the end of his esteemed career, lie signed and dated this print, estimated to be worth $300 or more, with a likely increase in value according to art experts.

The winner of (his raffle will not only receive the print of the Cheyenne chief but will also receive a framed print of the Lindneux drawing of George Washington.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. They are available at Bluebonnet Emporium in GBC any day of the week or at Friends of the Animals clinic on Tuesdays, Or call 903-451-4701 for more information or to arrange to purchase tickets. The drawing will be held on June 30.

This donation was made by local art collector Doc Williams, considered an expert in western art and artists.

Friends of the Animals Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is a 501 [c][3] non-profit charitable organization. Open since July of 2002, it has performed over 22,000 surgeries.
