PWC makes donation to Library at Cedar Creek Lake
Dale Molander, board member of the Library at Cedar Creek Lake, recently accepted a check from the Pinnacle Women's Club for $1,500 to assist in the day-to-day operational expenses of the lake's largest library.
The Library Journal awards star ratings based on what the library delivers to the community, combining
circulation, visits, program attendance and public internet terminal usage. The Library at Cedar Creek Lake is one of two in the state in the $100,000-$ 199,000 expenditure range to be recognized with this distinction.
Beyond books, they teach classes, offer GED instruction, furnish large print editions for the elderly, participate in Christmas reading
programs, assist with income tax preparation, and provide a stage for budding artists to display their works of art.
"Our commitment to the community is more than a whisper," added Molander. and the members of the Women's Club are proud to be affiliated with an organization dedicated to serve the needs of the lake area.
