Henderson County Judge Richard Sanders, left, presents the Henderson County Historical Society with the 2010 Distinguished Service Award from the Texas Historical Commission Tuesday, April 5, during Commissioners' Court. According to the Texas Historical Commission, the award is given to county commissions "that document exceptional service and dedication to the preservation of Texas."
