Andre J. Freeman

Mountain Messenger of Lewisburg, West Virginia

Lewisburg - Andre J. Freeman, 20, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born Dec. 20, 1988, at Ronceverte, he was a son of Randall K. Freeman and the late Julia Perry.

He was a graduate of Greenbrier East High School and was a member of the Rhema Christian Center.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his' paternal grandparents, Rev. William and Iva Freeman.

Survivors include: father, Randy Freeman and wife Linda of Lewisburg; girlfriend, Lindsey Hanna of Ronceverte; maternal grandparents, Ross and JoAnn Perry of Lewisburg; sisters, Aurionna Freeman of Lewisburg, Amara Lewis of Union, Cheryl Hunter and husband Shannon of Alderson, and Angela Luce and husband Timothy of Alderson; brothers, Ryan Pence of Lewisburg and Robert Walkup and wife Maggie of Greensboro, NC; uncles, Bill Freeman and wife Sandra of Roanoke, VA, and Michael Freeman of Charleston; 10 nieces and nephews.

Services were held Thursday, Aug. 27, at Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea where Rev. Stewart Farley officiated.

Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Friends called one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Rhema Christian Center.
