Lewisburg - Frank W. Handley, 78, passed away Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, at Greenbrier Manor Nursing Home.

Born Aug. 14, 1931, at Lewisburg, he was a son of the late J. Harvey and Evelyn Buster Handley.

Mr. Handley attended the Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg. He had worked for the Sweet Springs Dairy and was formerly employed by Lewisburg United. Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Survivors include: sister, Evelyn H. Eary of Richmond, VA; brother, Marion C. Handley of Fayetteville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg where Dr. Dexter Taylor officiated.

Burial was in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Visitation-was held Monday evening, Aug. 24, at the funeral home.
