At the Greenbrier Democratic Executive Committee meeting, Congressman Rahall's representative, Greg Hoyer, discussed plans for the upcoming re-election campaign. With emphasis on the concrete accomplishments of his current term in office, Hoyer emphasized that Nick Joe Rahall's natural constituency are the people who live in little white houses and his opponent is representing the big corporate offices. He said with the minimum wage about to be passed, with Wall Street regulations passed, with the national health care bill passed and with the stimulus package creating and saving many jobs for West Virginians, Congressman Rahall is confident that a vigorous campaign with enthusiastic support from all over the 3rd congressional district will prevail over greed and corporate interests.

The Greenbrier Democratic Executive Committee also finalized plans to attend the 10th Senatorial District Convention to help select the Democratic nominee for the vacated state senatorial seat in Charleston created when Senator Caruth passed away.

Plans were discussed to have a lively State Fair

Democratic table with a set up crew, booth workers and lively handouts and video demonstrations.

Finally, local Democrats came out to Ron Miller's

farm for a big picnic and a loud send off to Ron on his campaign for State Senate in the 10th Congressional District.
