CopyMary L. Crosby, 83, of Wolcott, died at 7:48 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in
Jasper County Hospital Alterna Care. She had been a resident there since November 2006.
Born May 31, 1926, in Benton County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Anstett McGraw and a 1944 graduate of Wolcott High School.
Her marriage was to John L. "Bing" Crosby on Aug. 29, 1946, in Remington. He died Aug. 17, 2000.
Mrs. Crosby was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm.
She was a longtime member of the Wolcott Christian Church, enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and was very active in 4-H and her church.
Surviving are her children, Luetta A. Nussbaum (husband: Bill) of Rensselaer, David L. Crosby (wife: Becky) of Warsaw, and Joy L. Parsons (husband: Tracy) of Midland, Mich.
Mary loved her grandchildren, Rob, Resa, Jon, Andrea, Lindsay, Megan and Courtney and her great-grandson, Nolan. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Ralph, Raymond and Bobby McGraw.
