Mary Jane Jordan

Mary Jane (Kruse) Jordan, 77, of Sullivan passed away 10:51 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at her home in Sullivan.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Visitation was 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday September 6, 2010 at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Mt. Zion.

Memorials may be made to Dalton City Christian Church.

Mary was born June 9, 1933 in Bethany, IL, the daughter of Carl R. and Bertha Viola (Smith) Moon. She was retired from Walgreens in Mattoon. Mary was

married to John William Kruse on August 15, 1951 in Mattoon, John passed away August 8, 1973. Mary then married Lionel V. Jordan on September 16, 1977 in Mt. Zion, Lionel passed away January 16, 1997.

She is survived by her sons, William (Grace) Kruse of Sullivan, Paul (Megan) Kruse of Sullivan; daughters, Peggy Kruse of Sullivan, Janet Jones of Sullivan, Julie (Greg) Pollock of Sullivan; step sons, James (Heather) Jordan of Kewanee, IL, Curtis Jordan of Washington, MO, Robert (Beth) Jordan of Hampton, VA; step daughters, Susan (David) Bullock of Newport News, VA, Sharon (Greg) Toth of Newport News, VA; brothers, Allen Raley Moon of Sullivan, John (Tiny) Moon of Shelbyville, and Ivan (Sue) Moon of Bethany; 15 grandchildren; 13 step grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by one brother, and two sisters. Condolences may be offered to the family at
