Hello all. How's it going? Good I hope. I had a full weekend full of football and moving. Football in that the first football game for PHS was on Friday and then Joe had a game on Sunday afternoon. Even though PHS couldn't pull out a win on Friday, I thought they did really well and the guys should be proud of what they accomplished. I think there's a lot of potential for this season and look forward to watching more games. Joe's team wasn't able to pull out a win either but they played hard and Joe got a couple of awesome tackles so I'm proud of Joe's team loo.

Saturday was moving day...that is Heather and Jenny moving to SDSU in Brookings day. First we tackled Jenny since she was new to SDSU. Thankfully she was on third floor and not fourth floor like Heather was when she first moved to SDSU. We just had a futon for Jenny and then the rest were manageable boxes and tubs. I bet Wal-Mart in Brookings loves move-in day at SDSU. I think Mark made three or four trips there because we needed more wire for Jenny to hook up electronics and the same for Heather. After we got Jenny all settled, we headed to Heather's apartment to get her moved in. Heather's apartment has four bedrooms and then a common living room, bathroom and kitchen so she has three roommates but each girl has her own room so that's nice. It was a little bittersweet telling the girls good bye but I didn't turn in to a blubbering baby. I'm not sure if it just hasn't hit me yet or if it's because I feel good about where the girls are so I'm not as worried about them. I know Jenny is going to fit in to college life like a duck to water and Heather is well accustomed to everything there since this is her third year there plus she can keep an eye on little sister too. I guess we'll have to see how the coming weeks go but I think things will be just fine.

I got an email over the weekend that I really liked and want to share a part of it with you. The part I want to share is a prayer that was at the end and I think it's very fitting for all you parents out there that brought sons and daughters to college lately.

"I asked the Lord to bless you as I prayed for you today, to guide you and protect you as you go along your way. His love is always with you, His promises are true and when we give Him all our cares, you know He will see us through. So when the road you're traveling on seems difficult at best, just remember keep on praying and God will do the rest. Amen."

So that's my prayer for all of you out there. I hope it helps you in some way and remember that faith is not believing that God can...it's knowing that he will. I haven't forgotten to tell you more about our trip out east but I had so much to tell you this week, I didn't have enough room. I've made a checklist so I don't forget to tell you things. Maybe next week I'll be able to tell you some more things about the east coast.

Until then, take care, be safe, and watch out for kids going to and from school. We love our kids and want to see them when we come home from work. One more tidbit of information for you...remember, exposure to the Son prevents burning.:) Lisa.
