In their second conference matchup of the season, Parker played host to the Baltic Bulldogs on Monday, Dec. 16.

With Baltic one of the favorites in class 'A' and boasting an undefeated record this season the Pheasants came into the game with high hopes of being able to pull the upset.

In the first quarter, Parker came out playing aggressively to keep up with the Baltic's upbeat tempo. Parker took the lead early in the first quarter and never let it go leading 11-9 at the quarter break. In the second quarter, it seemed to be much of the same except Baltic outscored the Pheasants and lead going into the half 19-15. In the third quarter a revitalized Pheasant squad came out shooting, but it wasn't enough, and the Bulldogs kept the lead by a score of 31-29 at the quarter's end. In the fourth quarter, things started to get interesting for Parker as they took advantage of some Baltic turnovers and started to make things happen. Parker tied the game with a minute to go with a basket by Anna Leloux.

Leloux was fouled while shooting, but missed her free throw. Katelyn Schaefer pulled down the offensive rebound and went to put it back up, but couldn't get it to go. Baltic then drove the length of the floor put up a shot, missed, but reeled in their own rebound, only to get a chance to shoot again, and this time they didn't miss. Baltic was fouled in the process, and made the free throw.

With thirty seconds to go Parker got the ball back shot, missed, and the Bulldogs got the rebound and wouldn't let Parker shoot again until the last seconds of the game. Baltic then went on to shoot free throws but, even when they missed, they would pull in their own rebound and eventually, they made one more free throw to go up by four points with 10 seconds on the clock.

Parker then came down and got a shot off, but it didn't go in and the Pheasants got beat 45-41.

For Parker (1-2) Anna Leloux led the scoring with 17 and was followed by Jess Trainer who had eight while Katelyn Shaefer and Micalanne Hanten each dished in six. Schaefer and Leloux also led the rebounding with 11 and eight respectively.

Coach Eliza Leloux commented, "We played a hard fought battle against a great conference opponent. As a team, we played with more patience, poise and intensity. We took care of the ball better and played well as a team. I am proud of our team effort!"

Parker next traveled to Alcester the take on the Cubs.
