With the first two games being unproductive for the Pheasants, Parker was looking to pick up win number one for the season in Alcester on Thursday, Dec. 17.

The Pheasants took the lead early and never looked back edging Alcester-Hudson 52-46. Parker took the lead in the first period and led at the quarter break. In the second, quarter Parker led by as much as 15 points before they took their half break. In the third quarter, the Cubs started to make some noise, but Parker held the lead at the quarter's end. In the fourth quarter Parker continued to hold a slim lead, as Alcester-Hudson continued to give Parker lots of opportunity at the line, however the Pheasants only shot around 50 percent.

Parker showed their strength with three players scoring double digits for the team.

Ryan Preheim again led the scoring for the team as he had 15 points and was followed by Cedric Hay and Josh Meyer who each dished in 10 points. Meyer also had eight rebounds.

Up next, Parker takes on Hurley in the Centerville Classic on Dec. 29.
