Jan Bolduc, the daughter of
Raymond and Rita (Zgutowicz) Feela, was born on Feb. 1, 1951 at St. Mary's Hospital in
Minneapolis. She was baptized at Incarnation Catholic Church. Jan grew up in South Minneapolis and attended and graduated from West High School in 1969. Jan was married one month after she graduated, to this union; they were blessed with two children, a daughter, Kimberly, in 1970 and a son, Brian, in 1973.
Jan attended the Minneapolis 911 Operator Training Program in 1997, ProSource Real Estate Education and Hutchinson Technical Institute in 2006.
Jan was employed as a legal secretary at Jerome Blatz Law Office in Minneapolis from Feb. 1988 to Sept. 1997. She also was an Emergency Road Dispatcher from May 1994 to Sept. 1997. From Sept. 1997 to May 2000, Jan worked as a 911 Emergency Operator.
In 2000, Jan moved to Ortonville and worked as a loan officer at CenBank from Aug. 2000 to May 2001. Then in May of 2001 to Feb. of 2008, Jan served as the Prime Timers Director/Customer Service Rep for Minnwest Bank. Jan so enjoyed her trips with the Prime Timers and always came home with fun stories to share with her family.
Jan enjoyed the lake, fishing and camping with her family and friends. She was creative in writing poems and letters. She was good at decorating and doing crafts. Jan enjoyed music and dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Jan died peacefully Sunday morning, Aug. 23, 2009, at the Ortonville Area Heath Services, while a new baby's first cries were heard across the hall. Jan had lived to reach the age of 58. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Kimberly (Jeromy) Flom of Ely and Brian Bolduc of Waconia; four grandchildren, Jessica and Ashley Bastable, Jackson and Charly Grace Flom; sisters, Marcia (Tommy) Hymes of Eagle, CO, Laurie Feela of Ely; brothers, Darrell (Judy) Feela of Burnsville, and Bruce (Jacque) Feela of Orr; and several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Raymond Feela; mother, Rita Feela.
