PHIL WICKHAM

Preston Citizen of Preston, Idaho

PRESTON - Phillip F. Wickham, 79, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2010, at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston. He was born March 2, 1931, in Franklin, Idaho, the son of Joseph Adrian and Monta Fuhriman Wickham.

He married Lillian Pedersen in 1950 in Chicago, 111. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He owned and operated the Chandalier Restaurant in Smith-field, Utah, and the Royal Decor gift store in Preston. He also did a lot of ceramic tile work and landscaping. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and traveling.

He is survived by his daughter, Arelene (Fred) Gillett of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three sisters, JoRene (Ray) White of Montana; Effa Jean (Ron) Olsen of Arizona; Karen Martin of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lillian of 43 years; his parents; a sister, Martha Wickham; a step-son, Bart Beck-with, and a stepdaughter, Sandra Schwarz.

Per his request no formal services were held. Interment will be in the Franklin, Idaho, Cemetery.
