Hubbard Packing Company, on West Oneida, is now open to handle wild game meat processing.

Saundra Hubbard, matriarch of the facility, said the packing plant opened Monday, Aug. 31, and will remain open this fall to handle big-game meat processing for hunters.

"We will make jerky and salami from wild game," she said.

"The business, located at 807 West Oneida, is a family operation and will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

"If hunters need us after hours, they can call me at 339-1674 or my son, Darrell, at 646-2104," Hubbard said.
