AISD Homecoming Queen to be crowned Friday

CopyAISD students and faculty will announce the 2009 Homecoming Queen at the upcoming Aspermont Hornet Football game this Friday against Trent. The following young ladies will represent their classes as they vie for the title of Homrcoming Queen:
Samantha Kerley
Samantha Kerley, a Senior, is the 17 year old daughter of Tim and Darla Pearson.
She entered the Aspermont School System in Kindergarten.
Her favorite class is Calculus with Mrs. Poteet.
She enjoys hanging out with friends and playing volleyball.
Hannah Flowers
Hannah Mackenzie Flowers, a Junior, is the 16 year old daughter of Jeff and Lisa Flowers.
She entered the Aspermont School System in Early Childhood.
Her favorite classes are Spanish III and Theater.
Her hobby is playing basketball.
Hannah said on representing her class as a Homecoming Nominee, "I feel overwhelmingly privileged to be representing the Class of 2011 in the running for Homecoming Queen. It is a great honor to be a Hornet and to be a part of this wonderful Homecoming Court. Danica Murguia Danica Murguia, a Sophomore, is the 15 year old daughter of Dana and Joe Murguia.
She entered the Aspermont School System in PreK.
Her favorite classes are Theater and Spanish.
Her hobbies are sports.
Danica said, "She felt pretty awesome, I guess on representing her class as a Homecoming Nominee.
Sasha Miller
Sasha LaShay Miller, a Freshman, is the 14 year old daughter of Glover and Sophia Miller.
She entered the Aspermont School System in Kindergarten.
Her favorite classes are Theater, World History and Athletics.
She enjoys Sports and Stock Shows.
Sasha said on representing her class as a Homecoming Nominee," I feel that it is an Honor and privilege that my classmates selected me to represent the Freshman class on Homecoming night.
