Haskell Bass Club names Team Tournament winners

The Haskell Bass Club sponsered an Open Team Tournament on Sept. 26, 2009.We had 20 teams come to fish in the tournament. The fishing was tough, but there were a few teams who were able to bring in some nice stringers.

1st place-Richard Lancaster & Buddy Seale from Breckenridge, Tx (total weight 15.62 lbs.)

2nd place-Donnie Fraser & James Albright both from Aspermont, Tx (total weight 13.71 lbs.)

3rd place-Chris Nock from Levelland, Tx & Chester Godwin from Hobbs, NM (total weightl3.24 lbs)

4th place-Lance Brown from Anson, Tx & David Brown from Aspermont, Tx (total weight 9.65 lbs)

Biggest Bass-Chris Nock & Chester Godwin (6.24 lb bass)

The winner of our Gun Raffle was David Simmons from Stamford-, Texas!

During the spring and summer months the club meets and has a tournament on a monthly basis and membership is open to the public. Call Brad Dubert at 940-989-3515 or 200-0481 or visit the club's website at www.haskellbassclub.com for more information.

The club's final tournament of the season is the Top Ten Tournament and will be held on October 10th and it will be restricted to the top ten finishers of the club's tournament season.

This year's Top Ten qualifiers are Brad Dubert, Chris Nock, David Adkinsson, Kipp Harmohn, John Isbell, Jay Miller, John Welker, Denny Daniel, James Frost, and Donnie Fraser. Alternate is Allen Morrow.
