On Tuesday August 26th at about 1:49 p.m. the Coos County Sheriff's Office received a report of a subject that had been shot near Milepost 6 on West Beaver Hill road near Charleston.

Wilson (Willy) Rex Davis, 34 of Coos Bay, reported that he had been kidnapped from his job site at the Family Four Stables. Davis was then taken by the 3 unknown suspects out to West Beaver Hill road near Milepost 6, shot in the foot and left.

Davis then walked a short distance where he flagged down someone who called 911 to report that a man had been shot and wanted a ride to the hospital.

Davis was transported to Bay Area Hospital by Bay Cities Ambulance, where he underwent surgery on his foot.

Investigation is continuing.
