Sidney man sentenced for sexual relations with child

CopyA 29-year-old Sidney man has been sentenced for one count of sexual intercourse without consent and three felony counts of sexual assault.
Leslie Christ Reinlasoder was sentenced to 60 years in the Montana State Prison with 30 years suspended by District Judge Katherine Irigoin Wednesday. The victim of the crimes was a 6-year-old girl.
Reinlasoder will be classified as a Level III sexual offender.
He was sentenced for 30 years for the sexual intercourse charge. He received 10 years, all suspended, for each of the three sexual assault charges, which will run consecutively. The sentence was part of a plea agreement.
According to court records, the incidents occurred between Sept. 1, 2009, and Dec. 15, 2009.
Documents read that Reinlasoder committed the crime of sexual intercourse without consent when he penetrated the victim with his finger.
The acts of sexual assault came when Reinlasoder touched the victim's privates.
On Dec. 14, 2009, police responded to a call from a mother of a 6-year-old female. The mother reported finding disturbing markings on the victim's body She said Reinlasoder had been at the location earlier in the day to help with her children.
After the mother awoken from a nap, she found that her daughter had colored markings on her back. Once questioned, the girl said Reinlasoder had done the markings. More markings were discovered on the victim's backside by her waistline and into her bottom.
The writing appeared to be pink/ red in color. One was a heart and others were hearts with wings. Some writing said "I love Les."
On Dec. 15, 2009, police interviewed Reinlasoder. He admitted to the writings. He also provided information that on Dec. 14 he touched the victim inappropriately He admitted he had previous contact with the victim since September 2009. He admitted he continued to have inappropriate contact with the victim from six to eight times in October and November 2009.
