Two Sidney residents were involved in a one-vehicle accident in North Dakota late Saturday afternoon.

John Olson, 40, and Angela Thiessen-Idoate, 39, were traveling southbound on Highway 58 near mile marker 7 on a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle when Olson was stung in the wrist by a bee while driving.

When Olson had an allergic reaction causing him to pass out, Thiessen-Idoate was bounced off the back seat of the motorcycle after the motorcycle entered the west ditch.

Olson laid the motorcycle on its left side in the west ditch facing southeast. Olson and Thiessen-Idoate were transported and treated at Sidney Health Center.

Agencies responding were the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Fairview Police Department, Williston Ambulance, Fairview Ambulance and the Fairview Fire Department
